: the car runs so cool to the point that the thermostat barely has to work. Power used up the the fan clutch is freed up too. The car feels alot better power wise. What I said was that we were able to get very similar temperature readings as your's with just the Koyo and Stillen lower hard pipes installed. We tested the set up under an extremely hot day (~100F). And we never went over 178F after several hard pulls on the highway.
I do agree the electric fan frees up some parasitic drag in the motor and would contribute to slightly better power and throttle response. But the amount of money one would have to invest in an electric fan set up to release the HP would not be very worthwhile to most people. THe amount of HP that's freed up by the fan would probably be about 3-5hp at most. What were the additional costs of the parts (not including the Koyo and the hard pipe)?
